Gameplay doesn’t look overly complicated and the visuals are okay - more Doctor Who is always welcome, though!
Had to get rid of some stuff today that I just couldn’t store - including the home made TARDIS box (right) Meg made me for our five year anniversary last year. She took this picture and told me I was horrible boyfriend: so I’m blogging about it for her to know that the picture will be immortalized forever with my ridiculous face.
I haven’t sat down and taken a picture of all my Doctor Who merchandise.
This isn’t everything at all, but mostly stuff I got for my Birthday/Christmas:
Doctor Who Mug, 11’s Sonic Screwdriver, both the TARDIS and Dalek polos, and the Victory! Dalek poster are from Meg. The TARDIS cookie jar is from Teri and Brittany (Meg’s family), and the Doctor Who Encyclopedia is a gift to myself.
Scored a hell of a deal on Doctor Who The Complete Series 6 on Blu-ray this past weekend. Regularly $85-$100, picked up used at The Beat Goes on for $44.99. I had a $12.99 coupon too so after tax I picked it up for $36.

The Doctor’s two dimensional adventures on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Vita aren’t quite as lost in time as the doctor himself, as Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock has been given a “March 2012” launch window. Perhaps you were worried that Supermassive Games (note:not Bastion dev Supergiant Games) wouldn’t include series staples like Silurians, Daleks, and whatever “The Silence” is? Well … uh … quit worrying about that, because they’re alltotally in there.
Also in there? Classic 2D gameplay! And, well, did we mention that those characters from the long-running TV series are in the game? Because they are, in case you didn’t realize that.

Sure, the Doctor Who “Brilliant Book 2012” is intended for younger audiences - but I don’t care. As a re-cap and all around inside-look into series 6 of Doctor Who, I’m happy to plunk this right next to my “Brilliant Book 2011”.
The book has great interviews, behind the scenes info, deleted scenes as well as comics from this past season. It also has these incredible one sheets from each episode that look outstanding. I can’t find a single HD example of them online, which is driving my crazy because I want them for my phone background.
If you’re a Doctor Who fan, it’s worth picking this up. It’s just over 150 pages, but it’s fun and informative. It’s great to see so much passion behind this past season.
