I know I’m behind on this - but I finally saw Let Me In. I generally dislike horror films, but found this one to be enjoyable. There is a significant amount of praise given to the original film Let The Right One In, but one step at a time. From what I understand, there were a lot of liberties taken with this adaptation, but overall it was very successful.
It’s your typical vampire love story, only it’s not absolutely horrible like Twilight or The Vampire Diaries. It actually builds off ancient vampire lore that many generations no longer have appreciation for, namely some of the most basic rules that vampires follow in the majority of the vampire stories I grew up on.

I recommend it. Even for a non-horror fan it was quite enjoyable and does a decent job showing off some gory shots. I’m not much for finding the emotional side of this film, but I know Meg really appreciated it. It came very highly recommended by her; pretty much the reason I wanted to see it in the first place!
