A week after it opened, Meg and I finally saw Zombieland. It was really well done too. The opening credits were fantastic too…there’s just something about slow-mo zombies that I really enjoy.
Overall Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson really played off each other well, and there were a lot of great lines in the film. Also, keep your eyes open for a guest appearance from a famous actor. I won’t say who it is because I unfortunately had it spoiled for myself and didn’t enjoy it as much, haha.
Also, I was right when I said that Eisenberg’s nervous acting has become stereotyped as he fell right into it again. Last week, however, I saw him on Conan O’Brien - my favourite late night host. He was exactly the same. I guess now it makes sense, somewhat along the same lines as Michael Cera, but even Cera has a somewhat different personality in interviews. Eisenberg was beating himself up about girls, stuttering and overall just being the same person he’s always been in his films.
At least he’s authentic.
