Commuting gives me a lot of time to listen to Podcasts. The only problem is that it gives me almost TOO much time to listen to Podcasts. I caught up on my favourite Podcast “The Nerdist Podcast” hosted by Chris Hardwick, Matt Mira and Jonah Ray. They discuss everything from video games to comedy to music to films. It’s overly nerdy and incredible. Once a week they post a “hostful” episode where the three hosts just sit and talk about whatever, and once a week they post a “guest” episode where they speak with comedians, filmmakers, actors, musical artists, etc. 

Now that I’ve completely caught up on Nerdist, I had to pick another Podcast to listen to. I decided on The Indoor Kids - hosted by comedian Kumail Nanjiani and his wife Emily V. Gordon. It is a video game-centric Podcast and every episode has a new guest who discusses their love for video games. Kumail and Emily do a great job hosting and they are extremely passionate about the industry and have been personally affected by video games growing up. It’s nice to have an alternative to my usual Podcast - especially one that I’m thoroughly enjoying.
