Man these were two really bad films. They were both so bad that reliving them in my head is way too painful. For that reason I will try to summarize to the best of my ability, these two awful films.

Troll 1 - Harry Potter’s family movies into a new apartment building where a troll resides and takes over Harry Potter’s daughter. She/It slowly turns the tenants into plants so it can open up his evil troll world while the good witch who lives in the building joins forces with her brother to stop her. It is horrible. The acting is just mind blowingly bad and you have no choice but to watch this train wreck of a film…and then you watch…

Troll 2 - This film has been glorified as the “Worst Movie Ever” by almost every single person and critic that has ever seen it. It’s been so bad that it has been elevated to beyond cult status as the film to watch. Meg and I have been searching high and low for this film for so long now that when I finally got my hands on it I couldn’t believe that we were finally going to see it. A dead grandfather helps his grandson protect his family from goblins (never in the film is the word “troll” even mentioned) who make people who move to their town of Nilbog eat food that turns them into plants, which they in turn eat. It is genuinely the worst film I’ve ever seen. The only redeeming moments are its faults, and there are many. It is so bad, so, so bad. I can’t believe we made it all the way through.

I would genuinely recommend Troll 2 over Troll 1, just because it is so much worse. If you’re going to go out, go out with a bang…and they did.
